Joe Walters

Joe, from Walthamstow, read music at Kings College, Cambridge, during which time he took a sabatical year in Calcutta studying the tabla. Joe has played with the OAE, the ABO, the English Concert, the Hanover Band, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the orchestra of The Sixteen.

Along with the modern horn, Joe also plays the cornet, clavinet and guitar with the group ‘Stereolab’. His own band, ‘The Local Show’ have just completed their first record
