Hannah McLaughlin graduated with Distinction from the Postgraduate Performance Course at the Royal Academy of Music in 2001. Whilst at the RAM, Hannah was a recipient of the Friends of the RAM Development Award, which enabled her to set up a small reed-making business.
Since leaving the RAM, she has performed with a wide variety of ensembles and orchestras. As a member of the European Union Baroque Orchestra in 2000 and 2001, in the UK with orchestras such as The King's Consort, Gabrieli Consort, and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment as well as with orchestras based in Ireland, Germany, Austria and Italy.
